The biggest, most damaging discord in the Dem party/Dem convention this week - and in this campaign - is between Obamaites and Hillary Clinton die-hards, who refuse to accept she lost and continue to complain, loudly.
Their principal complaint: Hillary wasn't even considered for VP - and Obama let the world know it, a slap in the face to the queen bee and her hive.
How much will they have to say this week?
How much will it hurt Obama?
Will this be the first modern nationalpolitical convention in American history that features hundreds of major delegates appearing on TV saying "I was for Hillary. I don't support Obama. I am not voting for him."?
This depends primarily on signals sent from Clinton(s) to their delegates: play nice - or raise hell?
A PROMINENT SOURCE (Politico.com) TODAY REPORTS THAT CLINTON(S) INTENTIONALLY "FANNED THE FLAMES" - OR AT LEAST DID NOTHING TO TAMP DOWN - THE ANGER OF HILLARY SUPPORTERS ENRAGED AT OBAMA'S VP SNUB.
So this tells us a lot about how animated (i.e. destructive) Hillary's most rabid fans intend to be in Denver.
So begins the 2012 Clinton Campaign - which necessarily starts with doing everything to make Obama Lose.
